Soulaani Blue is a recording artist and engineer from Colerain, North Carolina. He makes R&B, soul, alternative, and hip-hop that processes a life he's still learning to put words to. He spent his childhood on Cremo Road in Bertie County, came of age in Newport News, Virginia, and built his adult foundation in Petersburg before leaving the United States to teach abroad. His music directly funds community fridges and mutual aid in Richmond, Virginia. The initiative is called Feed Every Body. The idea is simple: art that feeds people, because some things should build instead of sell.
