The Work

My name is Soulaani Blue. My art is not just sound. It is a tool for building.

I come from a line of sharecroppers. I know that food is where freedom starts. My project, Feed Every Body, turns music into a direct line to community fridges and local farms. This is not charity. It is mutual aid. It is us feeding us.

I use platforms that align with my values. The money moves from the music to the people, simply. I am building a system that I hope will one day run without me. A generative, lasting thing.

This work is my reflection of these times. Not just a reflection, but an answer.

I see this as building two bridges to the same place.

One bridge is built with my own hands. From my salary as a teacher in Thailand and from the streams of my songs, I set aside money. That money becomes rice, vegetables, fruit for community fridges back home.

The other bridge is for you. I don't want your money to pass through my hands. I want it to go straight to the source. So on my site, you'll find a link to give directly to RVA Community Fridges. They are neighbors helping neighbors. That is the purest form.

My bridge and your bridge. They both lead to a place where no one is hungry.

I am building a system I hope will outlive me.

That means it cannot depend on me. It has to be simple, clear, and rooted in the community itself. That's why the money should go straight to the groups on the ground.

My role is to use my art to point to them. To tell their story. To feed their work with my own energy and funds.

This is not a brand. It is a blueprint. For a world where we take care of each other because we understand, deeply, that our freedom is tied together.
